Logistician, Senior
Summary
The Logistician, Senior is responsible for the overseeing and managing the entire supply chain for procurement to delivery of materials. The Logistician, Senior should be able to coordinate with the Logistics Manager with no guidance for the life of the Rapid Operations Material Management Warehouse Contract. This position will also act as the knowledge keeper for other Logisticians on the contract, and must be willing to educate less senior staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs tasks with no guidance.
- Analyzes and coordinates the ongoing logistical/supply support functions of the Government organization.
- Processes procurements/purchases using N-ERP requisitions/Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIPS),
- Ability to use N-ERP/MILSTRIPS for preparation, research, and N-ERP training and documentation.
- Responsible for the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources.
Supervision
May be required to supervise a team of up to 15 people.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or technical equivalent.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Technical equivalent and four years of additional work experience in lieu of a Master’s Degree
- Minimum of Ten (10) years of experience with at least ten (10) years of experience must be related to military ILS, and one (1) year must be with DPAS processes and required documentation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain HAZMAT Certification
- DPAS Train the Trainer Certification
- Forklift Operator Certificate
- Ability to complete DPAS Warehouse Management Training Module
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Familiarity of standards in logistics and warehouse operations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office products to include Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point.
- Must have valid Driver’s license, insurance and maintain military base driving privileges. Obtain military licenses/certification if required.
- Familiar with current military regulations, policies and standards.
- Possesses the ability to work multiple projects /tasks; interface with Government, and US military personnel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
- Willing to work any shift to include weekends and holidays
- Ability to obtain and maintain US Government Clearance
Physical Demands
The employee is regularly required to talk, including the ability to pass on information via the telephone, and verbally communicate with clients, staff and other employees, hear and see in order to perform his or her duties in a safe manner, including occasionally driving. The ability to lift up and move a minimum of 50 lbs., walk, bend, push, pull and stand is needed to perform all requirements of this position. Typically will have full dexterity of limbs to feel, reach, sit, kneel, stand, crawl or climb on small stepladders not to exceed 10 feet.

The work environment can vary from office/warehouse environment to field work outdoors depending on the mission and support required. Field work outdoors will be conducted under various weather conditions.
